Das heutige Last.fm entstand aus den Seiten last.fm und audioscrobbler.com. Letztgenannte Seite war in den Foren schwer angesagt. Hauptsächlich wurde dort, in der Web 1.0-Ära, von vielen Usern kleine Textschnipsel hinterlassen. Diese Schnipsel listeten auf, was man zuletzt an Musik gehört hat. Manchmal war es im erträglichen Rahmen, von der Anzahl und Größe des Textblocks, manchmal aber auch eine „Radiergummiaktion“ wert (ähnlich wie in uBlock „Element blockieren“). Ich meine mich zu erinnern, dass ich auch in der Sidebar so eine Geschichte platzierte. Aber das wiederum führt zur Geschichte mit dem langen Kapitel „Die Langsamkeit des Seins“.
